Four First Responders Hurt in Brooklyn Crash

Two FDNY paramedics and two police officers were hurt Sunday when their vehicles collided in Brooklyn, according to a report.

One EMS worker was listed in serious condition at the hospital, AMNY reported. Law enforcement sources told the newspaper the other injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Officers were responding to a 911 of a person armed with a gun. The ambulance was heading to a cardiac arrest call when the two vehicles struck each other in the intersection.

Both vehicles were said to be traveling with lights and sirens. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
