Five Sent to Hospital after Ohio Ambulance Crash

CANTON, Ohio – A Stark Summit Ambulance was involved in a crash Wednesday morning, sending five people to the hospital, according to a report.

One of the victims was a child.

The ambulance was on its way to Aultman Hospital when it was hit, according to cantonrep.com. The collision caused the airbags on the car to deploy and the bottom of the driver’s door of the ambulance was buckled.

Authorities tell the newspaper the ambulance providers were treating the patient when firefighters were called to the scene.

The patient from the ambulance and three adults and one child from the car were taken to the hospital. Their injuries are not considered serious.

Details on the crash were not available.
