On June 13, an ambulance was stolen from an Annapolis, Maryland, fire station. The alleged thief went into the West Annapolis fire station around noon and before crews at the station could stop the suspect, drove off with the rig. Crews at the station alerted the police.
The ambulance was heavily damaged a short time later when the ambulance crashed into a van. The van also sustained significant damage, and its driver was seriously injured.
