The Dubuque Fire Department had AEV build it two new Type 1 ambulances on Ford F-550 4×4 chassis.
After a crash, Van-Far turned to American Response Vehicles to get it a new American Emergency Vehicles Type 1 ambulance.
“We’ve been without new trucks since 2021,” EMS Director Sam Allen said. “We’ve got trucks with over 200,000 miles on them.”
