Road Rescue, a manufacturer of robust ambulances engineered to perform in demanding conditions, is celebrating 50 years of innovation and service.

The Road Rescue story began in 1976, when Bill Huestis, owner and operator of LP Gas

Company in St. Paul, Minnesota, purchased the Road Rescue name and ambulance design drawings from a small fabrication shop. He established Road Rescue as a local provider of safe, spacious and customizable modular ambulances, introducing features that were uncommon among manufacturers at the time.

Today, Road Rescue manufactures Type 1, Type 3 and Medium Duty ambulances at its Winter Park facility. Its highly skilled team builds and customizes ambulances featuring

refined, emergency room-inspired ergonomic design, innovative engineering and advanced safety features. Through a dedicated dealer network serving customers across the U.S. and Canada, Road Rescue delivers the expertise, service and after-sales support that emergency responders depend on.
