The Magic Valley Paramedic’s Special Operations Rescue Team used their new truck in Tuesday’s canyon rescue . In February, SORT bought the truck and were getting it ready to put a box mount on to hold equipment. Tuesday night was the second time it was called out.
Paramedic Isaac Baker said the new LED lights on the truck are nice to have after having to use a generator to use flood lights with their old truck.
“The new truck is amazing compared to our old rescue truck,” Baker said.
He also said it was faster.
