HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — First responders with Cypress Creek EMS were the target of an attack last week when a large piece of concrete was thrown through an ambulance’s windshield while traveling on the highway, officials said. Pictures shared by Harris County Sheriff’s Office Maj. Mike Lee shows the ambulance with a large hole in the windshield and the large chunk of concrete in the ambulance. The crew inside suffered minor injuries and charges are pending on a possible suspect, Lee said. Cypress Creek EMS called it a “senseless act” on Twitter and said the incident could have had “much worse results.”
