POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Several people were hurt after an ambulance and a Lyft collided last week in New York, according to a report.
The Daily Freeman reports the crash involved a Mobile Life Support Services ambulance that was transporting a person complaining of leg pain. The ambulance collided with the car while en route to the hospital with its lights and sirens on.
An ambulance from the neighboring Fairview Fire District were called to bring the five people in the Lyft to the hospital.
Crew members with Mobile Life were treated at the scene and taken to the hospital. One injury included a head laceration.
