$1,000 Reward after OR Ambulance Theft

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information about an ambulance that was stolen from an Oregon hospital.

The theft happened July 21st around 3:40 a.m. from Santiam Hospital in Stayton. The ambulance was located later that morning in a forested area. The ambulance was declared a total loss after it was found on fire.

The Statesman Journal reports the ambulance was worth about $100,000. The equipment and contents inside were worth about $50,000.
