Breast Cancer Awareness Ambulance Unveiled by AMR Orlando (FL)

To support the cause, AMR Orlando (FL) has wrapped an ambulance in pink for breast cancer awareness.

Crews are excited to show their support for the communities they serve, said Yaima Acosta, AMR Orlando operations manager.

“We’ve supported the cities of Orlando, Winter Garden and Windemere for many years, and this particular ambulance will be used for interfacility transports,” she said in a statement.

Acosta said the breast cancer awareness ambulance will rotate among the crews each month.

“This unit will be given to the paramedic or EMT of the month,” she said. “The ambulance will promote breast cancer awareness and it will also showcase our employee of the month.”
