Medstar, Michigan’s most integrated EMS and mobile healthcare provider, opened a new station in Independence Township. The new location at 5255 Maybee Road, in Clarkston, enhances services to patients and healthcare stakeholders in Northern Oakland County.

“The new station will better serve the area for years to come and benefits our mutual commitments with the Independence Township Fire Department,” said Kolby Miller, Medstar CEO. “We greatly appreciate Independence Township leadership for expediting the renovations of this building and welcoming us into their community.”

The Independence Township station is Medstar’s second location in Oakland County. It opened a Southfield station earlier this year.
